Learn about the Ecuadorian Amazon from experts
Yarina Ecological Reserve is a founding member of the Yuturi Preservation Group, a group dedicated to protect and preserve the Ecuadorian Amazon forest as well as its wild fauna and flora. The Yuturi Group works along with other organizations also involved in the preservation of the forest, and part of their projects encompass working directly with the local communities.
Yarina Ecological Reserve was created more than twelve years ago as a program to educate local indigenous populations on the importance of local wildlife preservation as well as of its surroundings. However, the reserve grew and developed new and key ways of working not only with the local people, but with national and foreign visitors as well. So much so that today it is considered one of the best and most important wildlife rescue centers in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
We are sure you will love discovering the magic and charm of the Amazon, and learning about the best ways to preserve this natural wildlife asset.
